Thanks Sam! The system I proposed surely has some flaws, fan travel being one for sure. But I think it at least allows for 1) More football and 2) a true championship.

The current BCS system, is as retarded as it gets. Your solution satisfies all the 'traditions' and the 'tie ins' and allows 12 teams a fair chance, instead of 2. Sounds so awesome. Send this to the DOJ and BCS.

Interesting. I think it's ironic that your review was presented on the internet, the source of mental formaldehyde. Way to further my mental degredation, man. Thanks.

Glad you are doing well! The new guy who replaced you is from KY and has a Southern-style accent. But he's more polite than you calling all the ladies, "ma'am".

Agreed, but Trader Joe's isn't your typical grocery chain. I want to watch Beer Wars. I have it sitting in my Netflix instant queue.

Reminds me of this article I read a while back: http://www.gladwell.com/2004/2004_09_06_a_ketchup.html

Also, grocery shopping is a lot different than buying a computer because (as discussed in Beer Wars) companies have to compete for shelf space. By offering 734 different variations of the same product, a company can maximize it's visibility on the shelf and crowd out any competitors.

I swam almost every day when I lived down in the Kankakee Valley area. I had a huge pool all to myself since no one else in the area used the top tier workout facilities they had built down there. And when I wasn't swimming, I was doing weights, running and doing other cardio in support of my swim habit. Since I moved up North into Chicago and Evanston, I've found it impossible to find a good pool for a decent price that isn't constantly booked with classes or which forces me to share lanes which I hate doing. I think sooner or later, I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and work out without the pool.
