There is NO shame in using the family lane

Family-Lane-Picture-714828

So here I am at Midway for what is maybe the 12th time this year. One thing I’ve learned as an expert traveler. DON’T use the expert traveler lane at Midway! You see, in some airports, the TSA has set up lanes to alleviate the frustration. You’ve got the black diamond lane, where the road warrior [...]

Newspapers and the Subscription Model

So this morning one of my favorite blogs, D Magazine’s Frontburner took up the (seemingly for the millionth time) debate surrounding subscriptions to newspaper Web sites as a way to combat falling print revenues. So another day and another round of links as I’ve combed the intertubes to bring you the best of the Web yesterday. What happens when you fly a robot eagle where real eagles live? Web video awesomeness. I read this yesterday. It spoke to me. It applied to me. I learned something. (It’s hot) Google [...]

http://www.getrichslowly.org/blog/2009/06/23/common-car-dealer-tricks/ This is a cool list of how car dealers tend to scam newbies are car buying. Your negotiation skills suck compared to their skills. http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/06/22/alicecom-is-your-housekeeper-and-personal-shopper-rolled-into-one-easy-to-use-site/ A new way to shop for household goods.
