Best of the Web for Wednesday June 24

So another day and another round of links as I’ve combed the intertubes to bring you the best of the Web yesterday.

This probably shouldn’t be considered ‘best’, but it is interesting. A 16 year old girl the size of a toddler. She doesn’t age.

What started out as a concept to win a competition is now going into a mass production. A bike light that casts a laser green line to point out the bike lane and safe passing distance to motorists. Very cool.

No more broken fingernails trying to get rings on and off your keyring. I ordered four of these yesterday. They’ve already shipped.

Running bad 80′s music thread

As part of a new work schedule I’m at work today. It’s not a huge deal and it will be nice to have a weekend next weekend when the rest of the world is working. Still, there’s not a whole lot to the sports world in Alabama on a Saturday in June. (There’s not a whole lot to ANYTHING in Alabama on a Saturday in June…) I’m still working hard…but with a little more idle time.

 So I’ve booted up youtube and made it my own personal radio station this morning. The idea? Bring up one bad 80s music video and continually click on ‘related videos’ as if it were the next button on my IPod. Hit the jump for what I’ve listened to…and in some occasions watched today. Tecmo Bowl and Punch Out! on the Nintendo Wii!

Words can’t express my happiness right now. The Wii that I’ve had for two months has a treasure that has been begging to be unearthed. I had no idea you could download old school NES games on the Wii. No. idea. I have downloaded Punch Out…Tecmo Bowl is up next. Video after the jump of some Tecmo Bowl shenanigans.
