Best of the Web for Wednesday June 24

June 25, 2009 By Grant Gannon

So another day and another round of links as I’ve combed the intertubes to bring you the best of the Web yesterday.

What happens when you fly a robot eagle where real eagles live? Web video awesomeness.

I read this yesterday. It spoke to me. It applied to me. I learned something. (It’s hot)

Google vs. Facebook. Two companies that have shaped the Internet both try to rule the online world.

Proud to be a pleb? Maybe content for now.

This probably shouldn’t be considered ‘best’, but it is interesting. A 16 year old girl the size of a toddler. She doesn’t age.

What started out as a concept to win a competition is now going into a mass production. A bike light that casts a laser green line to point out the bike lane and safe passing distance to motorists. Very cool.

No more broken fingernails trying to get rings on and off your keyring. I ordered four of these yesterday. They’ve already shipped.
