…and almost immediately I can feel the pollen penetrating my lungs. What had dwindled to a light cough has, in the span of an hour, spiraled into a wheezing, ribcage-muscle-pulling hack fest. Thanks, pine trees.

Update: Flight status

Half complaint, half praise. Story: I spent an extended weekend in Chicago but needed to be in Montgomery by 6:30 on Monday evening for a banquet. I booked a 12:10 flight out of Chicago, landing in Houston at 2:50 with a connection to Montgomery scheduled to leave at 3:35, landing at 5:15.

The Birmingham ‘International’ Airport

For all it’s drawbacks…long lines, poor parking, awful location, inadequate flight schedule, cramped terminals and lack of food/entertainment. The airport does have one very redeeming quality.
