I think I might put the head of the bed on a wall without a window b/c in winter your head will be getting lots of cold air coming in and also you could put a heater under that window. Just a thought
Otherwise, it looks wonderful – very roomy and comfy. Window treatments should be very easy – Linens N things is going out of business, so they might have some really good deals

I am so excited for you! I agree with Isabeth- there has to be a better way to arrange your bed. Good to hear about the water pressure in the shower – that is key!
